Finally! Bye bye July gloom, hello super hot heat wave...can we get a little balance here? To beat the heat we've been busy swimming with friends and beaching it with family.

I bought this beach 'cabana' tent thingy at babies r us for her and she LOVED playing in it!

Ruby's is a 2 mile hike from the RV site/beach where we were but who can resist french fries and an oreo cookie shake?! So 12 of us walked, strolled, scootered & biked our way to shake heaven.
This is what we did on the pier waiting to eat at Ruby's...my cousin Michele holding Alana over a dead shark...hmmmmmm, I'm trying to remember why I wanted to have her picture with this ugly thing...
First trip to Ruby's...forget the fries, they serve cardboard, yummy! 
Tired & hot from the walk back, we all went swimming at the pool. 
Now it's time to nap for a couple days!
