We went to an Ariel themed birthday party this weekend. It was pretty spectacular for a 2 1/2 year old, I'd say. Beer and fried chicken for the moms and dads and cake pops and a bounce house for the kids. Ariel was there doing face paintings (can you see her tail next to Alana in the bottom left pic?) So, Ariel asked Alana what she'd like on her face: a castle, a mermaid, fish, star...you know, underwater themed things but obviously my child has never seen the Little Mermaid and asked for hello kitty instead. Ariel was very gracious and obliged :) Alana was horrified the next day when she realized her Hello Kitty was gone! Oh well, you win some you loose some.
Does anyone have the Little Mermaid on DVD so we can borrow it and educate this girl?!
first of all, i'd like to find out how you got the daddy to go to an ariel party?!?!?! addi's daddy's not down for the parties! we don't have the dvd either, but addi loves the songs and the ride at ca adventure! if alana doesn't know ariel, how does she know hello kitty???
