On Halloween we went to Calvary (Santa Ana) for their annual "Un-Halloween" party. Well that's what it used to be called when I was going there in Jr High & HS. Now it's Light the Night and it's free and open to the surrounding community as well as members. It was interesting and I'll tell you why! It was open to the community....what else can I say about people....in the community? How about, hooker shoes & booby spillage at a church sponsered function is a little nutso? I suppose if we were all perfect then we wouldn't need the cross, touche.
If Alana was older she would have definitely appreciated the cupcake walk and all the bounce houses. She enjoyed a train ride with her Uncle Aaron though and tried to eat a pumpkin in the pumpkin patch, yum!
